Dick & Sheryl Beightol planted it in the 1990s. Just so happens, back in 1972, they planted the now famous Champoux Vineyard's block #1 cabernet sauvignon across the road on Phinny Hill's eastside. Caleb has produced with them since 2001. Their 500 acres produces a host of other world class red wines.

Caleb's produced 28 harvests from this vineyard consecutively, '91-'19. Cabernet franc here has been the regions' leading cabernet franc. Tom Thorsen & Jerry Bookwalter with David Ayala have managed CLV for the Conner and Lee families since 1987.

Planted by Norm McKibben's team in the 2000s, the site produces powerful rich wines. Washington sémillon is a great wine among the world's best. Yielding only a few acres of fruit, this Walla Walla Valley sémillon is a rare gem.
